Partnership for Resilience and Preparedness (India)

World Resources Institute (WRI) India is hosting a workshop on Partnership for Resilience and Preparedness (PREP) in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh on 12 June 2018.

The Partnership for Resilience and Preparedness (PREP), a public-private collaboration led by World Resources Institute, seeks to empower a data-driven approach to building climate resilience. As part of this initiative, PREPdata is a map-based, open-data online platform that allows users to access and visualise climatic, physical, and, socioeconomic data for climate adaptation and resilience planning has been developed and piloted in Madhya Pradesh and Uttarakhand.

At the workshop, the results of WRI India’s engagement with these states will be presented, along with an overview of the portal and how to effectively use the datasets and dashboards. PREPdata has been developed as a flexible tool for climate adaptation planning designed to address gaps and challenges faced by practitioners.
