WRI India, in partnership with CII, is pleased to announce the fourth session of its MSME Training Series, aimed to facilitate a transition towards a low-carbon, profitable and resilient MSME sector.

WATCH THE FULL WEBINAR HERE

Resource Efficient Cleaner Production (RECP) is an approach for enterprises to improve productivity and reduce environmental impact. As the MSME sector recovers from the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, the application of RECP interventions can serve to enhance their productivity and competitiveness; lower the environmental impact of their operations, and decrease the risks to workers and communities.

This session will cover the basic concepts and approach of RECP, identifying and implementing RECP interventions in business (including renewable energy), and opportunities and business models for the MSME sector. The session will include technical know-how as well as practical experiences from MSMEs, industry associations and practitioners.

Join this session to learn more about:

  • Identifying RECP opportunities in operations
  • Different approaches, indicators, and supporting schemes available for improving RECP
  • Practical insights and success stories of RECP interventions in the MSME sector

The session is free and open to all. Attendees will be issued e-certificates of participation.

The training series is conducted as part of the Carbon Market Simulation project, facilitated by WRI India and supported by the MacArthur Foundation with the aim of building capacity on climate change among Indian MSMEs. WRI India is partnering with CII for this training series.
