Restoration Dialogues: Inspiring, Innovating, and Designing Solutions for Scaling Landscape Restoration Through Policy Dialogues With a Focus on People-First, Peer-to-Peer Learning
Landscape restoration is key for India to meet its international climate and biodiversity commitments, as well as domestic targets for sustainable agriculture and improved livelihoods. This proceeding presents findings from the Restoration Dialogues in Bhopal, which identified policy barriers and scalable solutions for landscape restoration in Madhya Pradesh. Discussions highlighted the role of agroforestry and bamboo cultivation in enhancing rural livelihoods, building resilience, and mitigating climate risks.
