Manjari Srivastav joined WRI India in August 2023 as a Senior Program Associate for Air Quality, Sustainable Cities & Transport. She works closely with the Vadodara Municipal Corporation, strategizing and implementing air pollution mitigation measures in the city. Manjari leverages research and innovative solutions to tackle urban air pollution challenges, improving resident well-being.

Prior to WRI India, Manjari brought nearly 10 years of environmental engineering experience to various organizations. She spent seven years with the Central Pollution Control Board, India's pollution control regulator, and three years as a Junior Research Fellow with their Vadodara office. There, she conducted compliance verifications, inspections, and technical report preparation. Manjari also served as a consultant for the National Clean Air Programme, contributing her expertise to improve air quality in Gujarat's major cities. Additionally, she has three years of experience designing water and wastewater treatment plants.

Manjari holds an M.Tech in Environmental Science and Engineering from BIT-Mesra and a B.Tech in Bioprocess Technology from Allahabad Agricultural Institute. Outside of work, she enjoys gardening, nature exploration, and capturing life's beauty through photography.
